Have you tried the new whipped coffee trend that recently popped up?! I have made it a few times with different ratios and ingredients, and I think I’ve finally perfected a mocha version!

Tools you will need to make a whipped coffee:
- Mixing Bowl
- Tablespoon Measuring Spoon
- Electric Hand Mixer or Whisk (I highly recommend using a hand mixer unless you want an arm workout!)
- Mug or Tea Kettle
- Cute Glass and Straw for serving your coffee
Ingredients:
- Sugar
- Instant Coffee or Expresso
- Cocoa Powder or Hot Chocolate Mix
- Chocolate Syrup
- Your Choice of Milk

First, grab your mixing bowl, measuring spoon, instant coffee or espresso, mug or tea kettle, sugar, and cocoa powder or hot chocolate mix.
In your mixing bowl add:
- 2 1/2 tbsp of sugar
- 2 tbsp instant coffee or espresso
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder or hot chocolate mix

Next, add your 2 1/2 tbsp of hot water into the mixture. I heat my water up for two minutes in a mug in the microwave. You could also use a tea kettle to heat up your water! For the microwave, I add 3 tbsps to the mug because some of it evaporates.
Now its time to mix! I used a hand mixer, and it takes 2-4 minutes to get it to the correct consistency. Your goal is to make it light and fluffy! Here is what the final product should look like!

Next, its time to make your chocolate milk! Grab your cup and fill it with milk of your choice. I used 1% organic milk, but I have heard other people say you can make this with oat milk or flavored creamers, so just use what you have!

I added about 2-3 tbsp of chocolate syrup to my milk. I like the real chocolate Hershey syrup, but for a lower calorie option you could use the lite syrup too!
Finally, its time to build your drink! Top your whipped coffee mixture to the top of your chocolate milk, add a cute straw, and enjoy!

PS. I know it looks beautiful and very instagramable when layered, you must mix it before drinking!

XOXO, Kaitlyn
