My New Go To Hair Tie

Summer is hands down my favorite season. I love summer concerts, going to the pool and beach, and sipping summery cocktails outside at my favorite restaurants. What I don’t love about summer: my hair.

My hair is very thick with natural wave, and needs to be styled prior to being worn down. Summers in Maryland are very hot and humid. Afternoon thunderstorms are also frequent. Crazy hair and humid weather are not a good match, so during the summer, messy buns are my friend.

Perfecting a messy bun is art and it requires a great hair tie. Typically I reach for a goodies or scunci hair ties, but I don’t love the crease that they leave behind.
