A few weekends ago, I traveled down to West Palm Beach for a bachelorette and bridal shower weekend. The bride, one of my oldest friends, Gabrielle, is also a Lilly lover so naturally her shower was Lilly Pulitzer themed (I wish I had done that!).
I’ll be honest, I had nothing to do with the planning of this shower but it was so beautiful that I had to share!
The shower was held at a friend’s house in Flamingo Park (how fitting for a Lilly themed party!). The house is historic, built in 1926, and so charming!
We walked into the house (I arrived with the bride) and we were instantly blown away! The host had truly outdone herself.
We got our first glimpse of the Lilly theme in the kitchen. Here we were greeted with a glimpse of dessert and our first bridal shower game, the ring game. The cupcakes and cake are from Publix. They have the tastiest icing!
The Ring Game
For those of you who have never played, here are the rules:
At the beginning of the shower, each guest receives a plastic ring. You cannot say “Wedding” or “Bride.” If you hear someone say either, steal their ring. The person with the most rings at the end of the shower gets a prize. I actually won this game!
Next, we walked through the gift opening room. I spy lots of Lilly Pulitzer bags!!
Finally, we walked out to the backyard. This is where we spent the majority of the party. It was my favorite part! I officially have backyard envy!
The backyard was set up with a mimosa bar and lunch tables.
After a lunch of cucumber sandwiches, fruit salad, shrimp skewers, goat cheese puffs, and homemade wraps and meatballs. We played a few more shower games and watched the beautiful bride open her gifts.
The shower ended with everyone receiving Lilly Pulitzer Shift Dress cookies from Tia’s Treats. These cookies were not only beautiful but they were seriously the yummiest decorated cookie I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this bakery!
Gabrielle’s shower was beautiful and I am so happy for her to marry the man of her dreams! I also can’t wait to continue celebrating at the wedding in May!
I hope this post helps inspire your Lilly Pulitzer themed shower!
